Laura Rosof joined the SERVE Center as a Research Specialist in April 2020. She comes to SERVE from the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation at NC State University, where she worked on the Research and Evaluation Team. Her projects there included evaluations of several of North Carolina’s state-level educational policies, technical support and product development for the North Carolina Digital Learning Plan, and research support for education-to-workforce pipeline initiatives, including myFutureNC. Her previous experience includes working with North Carolina schools to implement a literacy program and to support research projects, and managing the volunteer program at an education and arts non-profit serving under-resourced students and schools in Los Angeles, California. She believes in the power of data and research to improve educational outcomes for all students. Laura holds a master’s degree in Education Policy from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys cooking, hiking, going to art museums, and traveling.
