Early Care & Education Programs and Services for Young Children Experiencing Homelessness

Description: Second in the three-part Supporting Young Children Experiencing Homelessness series presented by NCHE and the Ounce of Prevention Fund, an organization that focuses solely on ensuring quality experiences for all children aged 0-5, especially those born into poverty.
Presenters will describe the various programs and services providing early care, education, and family support to children and families, including program eligibility requirements and benefits. Participants will learn how to help families experiencing homelessness access early care and education programs in their communities and gain strategies for creating partnerships with early childhood stakeholders. There will be time for questions and discussion.
