SUMMARY:Supporting Students Experiencing Homelessness Through Career and Technical Education
DESCRIPTION:Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides a valuable pathway for supporting students and youth experiencing homelessness by offering accessible programming in both secondary and postsecondary settings. CTE focuses on equipping these individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to secure living wage employment in relatively shorter periods of time than associates or bachelors degree programs. Through practical\, hands-on learning and a curriculum tailored to real-world job markets\, CTE helps break barriers to employment and fosters long-term economic stability and independence for some of the most vulnerable youth.
